UK Handmade is 3 this Winter! We’ve come such a long way since we first embarked upon this journey, walking a unique path with the support and collaboration of some amazing talent.
UK Handmade has been running an ongoing Buy Handmade Campaign to get people buying handmade and support independent designers and makers throughout the UK, instead of buying mass produced.
This week, we meet Catherine Knowles of Hop Stitch Jump, who discovered her creative calling almost by accident after a fulfilling career as a teacher. She now enjoys working with children in a very different capacity, creating among other things unique textile artworks of children's drawings.
