Elizabeth was born in Wales and studied at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. After completing a master's degree at the University, she spent some time studying illustration at Chelsea College of Art, having her work short-listed for the prestigious Macmillan Prize, before spending a number of years working as a graphic designer in the Educational Children's Books division of Oxford University Press where she collaborated with some of the country's best illustrators including Korky Paul.
Later she left to set up a video production company with her husband, specialising in animation work, but in recent years has spent much of her time printmaking, and is a member of Oxford Printmakers' Cooperative. She is currently exploring ways of using print techniques on fabric, in addition to continuing to exhibit her etchings in Open shows and galleries around the UK.
Elizabeth lives on her smallholding close to Oxford's ancient Port Meadow, along with her prestigious kennel of coursing whippets and other livestock which are the inspiration for much of her artwork.
Her prints and hand-made scarves and fabric items can be bought from her etsy shop.
