Kathryn Sharman

I am a freelance journalist and copywriter with 15 years’ experience working in media. My career started in marketing but my love of writing prompted me to re-train as a journalist. Since then I have edited magazines for the UK shopfitting and store design industry as well as magazines for the UK childrenswear and fashion accessories industries.

As a freelance journalist I have also written on subjects as diverse as fashion, retail, leisure, design, IT and the automotive industry as well as specialising in web content, blog writing and marketing materials.

More recently I have been writing on the UK craft and handmade scene; one of my biggest passions! I am also an avid charity shopper and thrifter, with a love of vintage and upcycling.
